But clearly this style distinguishes the home network sector from the concise themes on more numerous, functional servers.

Perhaps this adds an extra level of security - if not published to a mail-list of course.

Comments on the utility to a cracker of gaining a system name would be welcome. (e.g. having sshd running by default is a big risk.)
