well I did put the Country command in(right I hope) and same thing get
the Noec and then sits until it times out.
Now I decided to again delete tit all and start from scratch(dummie)
I first tried the Wizard and that does not ask for the phone
number...not sure if it automatically puts in the number for ihug but it
does ask for the country entry.
I then redid it again through the manual entry method which does not ask
for the Country entry
and both finish up with no modem commands entered.
can someone give me a full list of the commands that should be entered
there please and I will try again.
The boss has decided to go out this evening so will probably be
tomorrowe morning before I get the chance to play again, but I will
google for the Noec problem and see what i get.
thanks again for all the help and advice.... if I get no where this time
I might try building and installing a new modem driver and see what that
turns up.
I have not sat down and tried installing the wvdial yet.
