I am trying to install minicom at present..... now I have had a look at
the dpkg info and I am sorry tosay I am a little confused as to what I
should actually be using.
I tried dpkg -i /minicom* also the full minicom file name and it
wouldnt take it so gess I was either doing something wrong there or is
it that it is a .deb file that I sould actually be doing something else??
Robert I was looking at doing what you suggested a while back about
accessing the Fat32 file.
my fstab file has the line
/dev/hdb1 /mnt/hdb1 vfat,ext3,ext2,reiserfs users,exec 0 0 commented out
it has the following before that
/dev/hdb1 /mnt/hdb1 vfat defaults,umask=000 0 0
is that the correct one that needs to be there or should I comment it
out and uncomment the first one which is as you suggested ??
