Greetings,

I am using a printer connected to another machine over network which
I can only access via ssh. I usually print to a file and then do "cat
/tmp/print.ps | ssh pirx lp". I am using a DSA-key for
identification, so that I do not have to enter a password. Is there
any way to configure cups to automate this process?

Thanks,

"Using ssh Port Forwarding to Print at Remote Locations"
The computer I am connecting to is using a firewall which only allows me
to use ssh to connect to it. I was looking for something like
http://phils.in-panik.de/projects/cups/backends/ssh.php
The only problem is that it does not run and the debugging is not where
it should be (/dev/null maybe?).
