I've goofed. I have my email being retrieved by fetchmail and stored in my local mail spool at /var/spool/mail/phill.
While trying to figure out a problem with Evolution refusing to send email (smtp authentication had turned off), I ran 'mail' from the command line to take a quick look and see if everything looked ok there. As I quit I was prompted about whether I wanted to store old mail and without thinking I hit yes causing mail to exit with the message: [Keeping 12 messages and storing 1429.] The problem is I can't figure out *where* those emails are being stored, and I'd really like them back. Can anyone tell me where 'mail' stores mail and how, if possible, I can important it back into my mail file so I have access to my old emails? Thanks!
