In the screen-shot pictures which show the complete screen it's obvious that the machine in use is a Mac. Now, Macs have a new line indicated by a CR character whereas Linux uses a LF char. I suspect that that is a major part of the problem. Nick: Does the double spacing persist with web clients on different underlying O/Ss?
