Well done Nick,

Our next meeting this coming Tuesday 10 October 2006 will be a "night at the
movies".
We will be showing:
1. Codebreakers, a BBC doco about how poor countries are using oen source
software for development. it is a quite recent (May) BBC production, now
released under the Creative Commons License. (40 mins)
Any chance of giving us a price for burning a copy to DVD for people
(c$5-10?) please?
Two orders hereby placed (me, + Don).
2. a short doco about "trusted computing" - the next lock in platform from the
major computing/media/hardware/entertainment companies.
Please feel free to bring your own popcorn and beverages. Clearly we also have
time for more material, so if any of you know of anything which is relevant
to OS/Linux/etc then please let me know asap and we can look into it.
Do we want to run "The Code" as well? - after break perhaps (must be
c1hr+ - I haven't watched it yet).
Or we could use the time for a short talk on bittorrent, which is how I
downloaded the above files, or we could simply socialise and do fixups for
the rest of the time.
Nick.
Cheers, Rik
