That'll tell you roughly what the server is doing, which is nice. netstat or lsof -i TCP will tell you who is connected at a particular moment in time. Ethereal or tcpdump will tell you exactly what's flowing over your network; which will not be presented in a friendly way; however it's pretty much the ultimate diagnostoc. ntop might do what you want ... and etherape does a nice job of presenting that sort of thing graphically. -jim
