Well I guess I might just have to try it myself... :) Entering http download.opensuse.org /distribution/SL-10.1/inst-source would be correct but doesn't work. It hangs with no data transfers. Try one of the mirros linked from the download page. This works for me: ftp://mirror.pacific.net.au/linux/opensuse/distribution/SL-10.1/inst-source/ Suitably split into the fields. You might want to leave out the leading "/" of the server path this time round (avoids a minor optical problem). Takes a bit of download time to fetch a catalog this big, but works. If you're sick of zmd, you can uninstall the packages zmd, rug, and one other which depends on it and you'll be fine, except you loose the tray icon which tells you by itself whether any updates are available for you. If you want to keep zmd, wait until it's finished... Btw keep your package handling packages always uptodate, that's the ones with yast, zypp or zmd in the name. They had a lot of problems fixed.
