Robs suggestion to install a second disk for debian is good advice
unless Chris is absolutely certain about what the third fat32 partition 
is used for and can resize the second ntfs partition. 
There is a clug meeting next Tuesday 14th to bring the pc along to.

that would be the command line 'parted' that is accessed from
the "debian installer main menu" and selecting "execute a shell"
'parted print' and 'parted help' give info.
