Thanks Don, The holiday was quite an adventure and lots of fun mostly.
I did see some penguins at the Berlin zoo but they weren't doing much with Linux :-) I carried around a laptop that now has approx 10 Gig of photos (about 11 thousand) of our travels. You would be amazed at how easy it is to collect that many photos. I used kImDaBa (now called kPhotoAlbum) to keep track of them. Because it keeps its database on an XML file it tends to slow down a bit when the photo number gets above 10 thousand but it seemed to be adequate for the task. See you at the next CLUG meeting, Zane Don Gould wrote: > How was the holiday? > > I saw you sneak in the back door on a thread. > > Did you meet any penguins? > > Tell us everything. > > Cheers Don -- Zane Gilmore, Analyst / Programmer Information Services Section, Information Technology Dept, University of Canterbury - Te Whare Waananga o Waitaha Private Bag 4800, Christchurch New Zealand Phone +64-3-364 2987 extn 7895
