I have found the Digiweb (based in Christchurch) guys to be very friendly and helpful. I don't use their hosting as I don't need hosting, but I do use DiscountDomains for my domain names and SecurePayTech for my credit card processing. They are all run by the same folks and I've had great service from them. Digiweb are their hosting outfit but it seems you can get cheap hosting through the DiscountDomains site also.
