I personally recommend having a FAT32 partition accessable to both Windows and Linux. Others may offer other suggestions but this works for me. My dual boot laptop example:- hda1 16Gb NTFS Windows hda2 30Gb FAT32 Shared hda3 10Gb ReiserFS / hda5 1Gb swap hda6 3Gb ReiserFS /home Rob (Quite happy to be told there is a better way)
