Question where would i get it? from further checking mencoder seems to be the one people in ubuntu land uses and it has xvid enabled. you use video something or other (VCL is it?) peoples suggestions on what's hot and not hot for conversion of formats? I don't have a DVD writer and it's for a friend who asked me if i could get it for her @ 18months ago :) (dailup till recently - Yuppie what goes for B/band now).
