B*llocks. *EVERY* major distro has screwed up at least once since 1997 ( had to check my CV to work out when SuSE did it and I binned it ). As Matthew stated, where there are people involved, mistakes can, and have, been made. From debian to RedHat to SuSE to Ubuntu. And out of all of those the smallest distro hell was ubuntu. And in every case, the package manager made bog all difference to the outcome. Steve
