Where 'gay' was a less discriminatory word than/for 'queer' (which was then proudly embraced), 'gay' has now been negativised.

If there's any bullying attached, it would need to be sorted out.

But maybe it's all quite harmless, and us fogeys are just out of touch. The young generation doesn't seem much interested in reading our rantings here, for example. Age makes such a difference, true.
