Not sure quite what this DVD is, nor can IMDB find a movie called "Joanna the RENT", but I can say that dvd::rip http://www.exit1.org/dvdrip/ is what you want for this job. As always look at your distro to install it. Alternatively mplayer should also work, albeit a little more manually. For example: mplayer dvd://1 -ao pcm:file=soundtrack.wav will rip the sound track of title 1 on the dvd to a file in your current directory called soundtrack.wav. Then you can use lame to convert to mp3. lame soundtrack.wav soundtrack.mp3 Working out which title to rip is trial and error, its usually 1. Just plain mplayer dvd://x will play title x, keep increasing x until you find the main title. Of course you'll end up with a large file, you can use audacity to isolate various tracks and then export them individually to mp3. > What's the quickest way to do this, anyone done this sort of thing before? > > Cheers Don > -- > Don Gould > www.thinkdesignprint.co.nz - www.tcn.bowenvale.co.nz - > www.bowenvale.co.nz - www.hearingbooks.co.nz - www.buxtonsquare.co.nz - > skype:ThinkDesignPrint?add - Good ideas: www.solarking.co.nz > >
