Having recently upgraded to 10.2 from 10.1 I needed to fiddle a bit with
the Yast installation sources. You should NOT add http:// or ftp:// in
the server name field. I have leading / in each of my directory fields,
and no trailing / anywhere.
Also, in order to get various multimedia options working correctly I
needed to add a few additional sources (and in some cases remove then
reinstall eg amarok, xine)
Add these types / server names / directories and you should be good to go:
http
mirror.pacific.net.au
/linux/packman/suse/10.2/
http
packman.iu-bremen.de
/suse/10.2
ftp
ftp.gwdg.de
pub/linux/misc/suser-guru/rpm/10.2
http
ftp.riken.jp
/Linux/suse/suse/update/10.2
Note also the riken.jp directory has a capital L at the beginning of the
directory name, this server at least is case sensitive.
Cheers,
Roger
Roger,
Sorry if this is a newbie question. I had previously added the first three
repos successfully but what does the Riken repo add?
Craig
