Can anyone recommend a product that will encode a wma to a 3gp.

According to wikipedia mencoder (the encoder part of mplayer) and ffmpeg will
both encode 3gp
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3gp

and heres a page with examples for both.

Thos examples are for video and audio combined streams (ie a normal non-silent
movie), I guess if you are converting wma you'll only be wanting an audio
stream.

Bugger, heres the url http://www.excamera.com/articles/24/movie.html

I just tried and appeared to make an audio only 3gp file like this:

ffmpeg -i test1.mp3 -ac 1 -ar 8000 -ab 12 test1.3gp

Which is basically the first example on the above web page with the video stuff
taken out. I don't think I have any wma files to test with. ffmpeg -formats
suggests wma is supported, your ffmpeg may vary.
