Just remember that you will have a short life with solid core network
"flexes" (because they are not flexible)
-and you should use dirrent plugs for solid too.

My Mileage has been excellent - several years so far.
Mind you, my home made solid core patch leads don't get moved around much.
BTW I used RJ45 crimp plugs from DSE that did not specify if they were
for solid or stranded.
If you are constantly re-arranging your patch cables then I would go
for strand tho', but beggars can't be chosers and I don't intend to
charge Don for them and if they stop working in six months then at
least he's had six months use and they're not likely to fail at the
same time. Or someone else can offer proper stranded flex stuff.
