I have a friend who I have not yet converted to Linux although he has had a little play.
His latest project is converting his old 8mm movies to digital format and he wants to create DVD's from them. He knows of some Windows based programs which he could buy for the job but I told him that I thought there are free Linux based programs to do the job (although I have no experience or knowledge of this). Is Kino capable of creating DVD's to play in a DVD player?
