I agree with Nick completely in his comment earlier on.
I know of noone who is prepared to do the 24 * 7 * 52 weeks of sitting on
the clug list to moderate the list
- and who will be prepared to deal with the raft of queries on,
"why was my email blocked", or "why did you post it"
- and who will get it right everytime, and never block stuff that should
be posted, and post stuff that should be blocked
Get real, and look carefully ::
moderation is a very very weak form of censorship
Further, open source community has been, over the years, riddled with
flame wars etc. So - if you are interested in open source, you should grow
a thicker skin to deal with the occassional dumb post.
Sigh - that comment on a thicker skin is a cop out, but it is the way of
open source. Get over it, and move on.
