GRAMPS Somewhat limited, but has a nice GUI. http://gramps.sourceforge.net/ LifeLines Very powerful database and report generator, but has the disadvantage that data entry is via your 'Editor of Choice'. http://lifelines.sourceforge.net/ I use the latter, with which one can generate many different reports, because it has a huge library of programs written in its special genealogy oriented report language. One of the programs creates a really spiffy PostScript chart of Ancestors or Descendants. If there is interest, I'd be happy to show it off as a secondary talk one evening. -- CS
