That's a shame, as I would have had a coffee break free to try and fix this. After all, hand crafting an x config file is a simple task if you can get on the machine. The output from lspci, and reading the front/back of the monitor is all the input you need, whatever the flavour of linux you prefer. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to drive into town, living somewhat outside the city. I also know no Mandriva. I can, however, fix this problem. I'm still working, and have been since 5:45 am, same as the rest of this week, just so I can take my first holiday in 4 years. I'm not elitist - I don't really think that anyone who's migrated to this country really is. But I am p*ssed off by your comments. I see that you've spent a while lurking, got a feel of the tone of the list, and posted accordingly as per good nettiquette. What label should we be placing on you after your weeksworth of postings?
