I'm going to stop recommending Ubuntu. Distros like gNewSense and Fedora
actually do give a toss about software freedom :^)
Free CDs in the mail is streets ahead of any other distribution
mechanism, imho. More specifics to your anxiety would be helpful.

Noone has offered help for the Fedora user GNUz/GLU has, so he's likely
to be moving on..
