No, use CUPS.

Ok, I thought I was using CUPS, I'll bring the pc on tuesday and perhaps get some pointers.

And you have not yet answered the question - "Has the printer got PostScript?"

It is not standard on that model but is available as an option. The PPD is useless if the machine is not PS capable.


No idea, it's just one that the sales guy arranged. I didn't look in to it very hard.

PCL6, that I know.  That's what I'm using in Windows.
