OK so it is decrypted by the dvdshrink process and plays off the hard
drive. I have made many DVD's with k3b from a file tree on hard drive.
When you say it won't play, what software are you using to play it? I
find xine the best. It is better than mplayer with menus etc.
Or are you trying the DVD in a standalone? If not, what happens when you do?
By the way k9copy does an imitation of dvdshrink. However I prefer to
rip to a xvid avi. Then I don't have to search thru endless DVD covers
to find it.
