Can anyone on the list reccommend an ADSL modem with better than normal features?
I know the default answer would be to bridge an ADSL modem to an ipcop or pfsense box, but the circumstances where the modem will be deployed this is not a viable suggestion. What I want is a modem that has has both ethernet and wireless, plus a fully featured firewall application so that I can set up rules to my hearts content. Support for an attached usb hard drive would be a bonus. Does anyone on the list have any experience in flashing store brought ADSL modems with Linux images such as openWRT? Cheers Ross Drummond
