Hi Dave
I did use Linspire a few years ago, I did play with CNR but the whole system
was lacking 'something'. I didn't like CNR and Linspire for the main reason
that its Lisence is restrictive and IF you want Click and Run you are
suppose to pay to access the CNR warehouse.
Mepis and Ubunutu are great for new users because if they want new software
they can use Synaptic (aka apt-get)

On another note an ICT broker is similar concept to a mortgage or insurance
broker if the fact that if you want the best mortgage around you generally
visit a mortgage broker. Well if you want Price reductions in calling, PBXs,
Data Links, Hardware basically anything we shop around for and like all
brokers our services are 100% free

Hope that helps cheers

Cam

anyone had a look at linspirefree ??? i've got a copy here at home (not
installed it etc) but it is now or will be ubuntu based bedian also :)

note it has some good ( from what i understand) window app (music video)
compatablity (YES Yes don't twitch at me :) i know other distros do too) and

it has cnr to make it more like a widose d/l app and install with little
user
interaction (anyone got a spare partition free for a test drive)?

plus they have what's call bitlocker so you can have your music available
anywhere you have net connection (eg ipod or the like want to update music
selection or change some off) plug into server via net do your thing and
walk
with the new play list (well that's what i understand).

let the hammering start :)
