No problem! I was able recently todo a bluetooth connection with my Sony Ericsson t610 & my Linux box. I dunno about pim stuff, but I certainly was able to transfer piccies etc over. Will try & find the tutorial that stepped thru it.
The Palm uses a very mature toolset called pilot-link for its synching on Linux. I'm not sure what other tools are avaiable for other handset OS's.
