I couldn't persuade the i810 driver to run my monitor at greater than
1280x1024 -- I replaced it with the intel driver to get my current
1400x1050 monitor working. According to "dpkg --info" the
xserver-xorg-video-intel package replaces the xserver-xorg-video-i810
(<< 2:1.9.91-1) package.
I'm reluctant to go back to i810 as I couldn't get better than
1280x1024 out of it. Happy to take suggestions on how to beat it into
shape, though.
