/etc/init.d/smb restart (at the command line) In Yast > System > System Services > scroll down and find "smb", click disable, acknowledge the dialog box that tells you "Shutting down Samba SMB daemon", then click enable. restart your computer (really, that is such a poor way of doing it, but will "work")
