No, it only sometimes works. If the list server force-adds a reply-to:
(clug's does not), you can use it. If it doesn't, you have 2 cases:
there isn't one at all and you need to find something else to filter on,
or it's inserted by the poster, in which case your list mail will go all
over your hard disk but not into the clug folder. As added spice to the
soup, keep in mind that both to: and from: may be forged, causing your
filter to put spam into your clug folder.

What this thread tells me is that filters included with mail clients are
all substandard and can't get the job done properly. I'll stay with
fetchmail/procmail any time, it works with any mail client too, which is
handy while switching between console and gui clients and waiting for
the one truely good mail client.
