Yes, Windows ejects messages to ports 139 and 445 as near to concurrently as
possible.
This confuses samba no end. The purported net-wisdom workaround is to put

smb ports = 139

in the smb.conf file.

Samba then listens on only port 139.
I'd be very interested to know if this actually works.
