Depends what you're after... Eye candy would be sabayon linux <http://www.sabayonlinux.org/>, based on Gentoo and had a lot of pretty good reviews a while back.. I've just installed PCLinuxOS <http://www.pclinuxos.com/> which is the easies 'out of the box' I've ever done, and as a bonus it has all of the eye candy bells and whistles working too! And as always I'll plug my favorite distro, arch linux www.archlinux.org... blazingly quick, brilliant package management, great init system and teaches you how to really use linux :-) My 2c. Ben
