The answer is probably "yes".  ("Probably" = "I don't want to be sued if
someone is going to depend on this and it doesn't work")  There appears
to be only one model of Vodem (Huawei E220).  The data roaming charges,
though, are likely to be astronomical.  Probably best to get a separate
SIM card (Vodems use the same SIM cards as do telephones) for each
country.

BTW 3G broadband has just arrived in this part of Hamilton, and my Linux
laptop and the Vodem driver from Spain make use of the extra speed just
fine (following up on previous posts).
