The lack of binary blobs surely counts as technical advantage, especially if you're interested in security and privacy. It's much harder to trust or fix a black box, right? But since archive space is limited and gNewSense is unlikely to be in much demand, I guess it would make sense to keep the CD in the cupboard. Though, I hope there's an easy way for people to find out what's available.
