Internet problem or my problem?

I installed Mepis 7 (Beta5) yesterday and now (I think coincidentally) I 
have problems browsing to some sites.

Anyone else got problems getting to
www.google.co.nz
www.mepis.org
www.mepis.com
I do not think it is the OS because I have the same problem on a WinXP 
box here at home.
