Hi Aidan,

That machine isn't sufficiently small and gross that you couldn't run
something like Debian, Gentoo or even Ubuntu Server on it.

It's not until you start to get down to the 4-8mb of RAM range that things
really get sticky (I'm working on an embedded project at the moment...
having to use kernel 2.0.1 8^))

You could probably boot off a Debian net install floppy. Just don't forget
to setup some swap space ;)
