Speaking of the list, I can supply isos of mythbuntu 7.10 and knoppmyth R5F27 (both are the latest versions). Both are easy to get going versions of mythtv. mythbuntu 7.10 is from the same codebase as ubuntu 7.10. It also makes it easy to switch to very recent versions of mythtv if you like the "latest and greatest" http://www.mythbuntu.org/auto-builds knoppmyth is an easy to install mythtv which will take over the target computer.
