Above that size and you have 1.5 mm which is 3 strand and then most sizes above that are 7 strand. Do you mean "flex"? Legally you cannot use "flex" for fixed wiring other than from a permanent connection unit to a fixed appliance. I am an ageing electrician (not practicing) so I could be corrected. Yuri? Rob
