'Ay, that's true. Although the plugs for solid core cat5/cat6 wire are less common, as you're generally not making patch leads out of solid-core wire.
If you ask for RJ45 plugs you'll generally get the 'spike' kind designed for stranded wire, not the zig-zag or fork ones designed for solid. Cheers, Me.
