I have vmware 1.0.3 running with no problem on 64 bit CentOS 5, 32 bit Centos
4, and 64 bit Ubuntu edgy eft - all multicore servers. All were installed from
either tarball or rpm downloaded from the vmware site, with no particular
problems.
