Has anyone used netbeans with openoffice.org sdk?

I'm using ubuntu gutsy and installed both packages from the
repositories and set up netbeans to find the openoffice extensions.

I was following the instructions here:
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/OpenOffice_NetBeans_Integration

It all seemed to install fine, but when I go to create a openoffice
addin I get the error:

While executing an SDK Command, the following error happened:
/usr/lib/openoffice/sdk/linux/bin/uno-skeletonmaker: 4: basename: not found
/usr/lib/openoffice/sdk/linux/bin/skeletonmaker: 4:
/usr/lib/openoffice/sdk/liniux/bin/.bin: not found

I'm wanting to start writing openoffice macros and thought I might as
well start off properly using java rather than with some poxy basic
language!
