I've just built up a new workstation for myself - AMD 5600+ based - nice toy and far better than the ailing XP1800 it's replacing!
Accorging to specs, this runs at 2.8GHz and has a 2MB core. However, this is what I see... vendor_id : AuthenticAMD cpu family : 15 model : 67 model name : AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+ stepping : 3 cpu MHz : 1000.000 cache size : 1024 KB Any idea why I'm seeing this - it's 64 bit gutsy if it makes a difference?
