then $6000 could be compared to the cost of sending a child to school.
For a privately run primary establishment the six grand figure would
equate, very approximately, to 18 months, and a somewhat shorter time
for the state school system.

They are presumably aiming this software at situations where the cost
will not be borne by the end user, but by a funding agency of some
sort. I am merely pointing out that the cost of this software is not
hugely outrageous.

Compare that with what I believe to be correct when I say that Hagley
paid between thirty and forty grand for a site licence for something
similar.

Please note very well that I'm not justifying or condoning the alleged
actions of the vendor's agents in the particular situation reported by
Stuff, or the acions of any other hawker or tinker.
