I've had a bluetooth headset working fine with linux and used it for skype calls. The setup was tricky - bluetooth in KDE looks easy but was a bit of a nightmare in Kubuntu 7.04. It may have improved since. Unfortunately the bluetooth sound quality was pretty bad. It worked and was fun to play with, but for making good quality calls I went back to a corded (non usb) headset.
