I recon that if it's possible to create a working reference
implementation from the text in the standard document, and nothing
else, then it's 'for real', if it's not, then the 'standard document'
is a fake, irrespective of how many pages it has.

My understanding is that the OOXML standard documentation is in the
latter category, but I'd love to be corrected.
