A few weeks ago, I wrote about my experience with a Vodafone 715 phone, trying to get it to play nicely with Linux as a USB storage device.
It turns out that if you plug in a flash card (micro SD) card then connect to the PC, it Just Works. You can access files on the SD card, but nothing in the phone's internal memory.
