Hi, I have completed an essentially uneventful version upgrade from gutsy to hardy heron except... My only issue appears to be that Thunderbird can neither send a new message or download new messages. "failed to connect to server pop.ihug.co.nz" and "unable to connect to smtp server. the server may be down etc". This is to more than one server (ie not just ihug). All account settings, servers and ports appear to be unchanged from what previously worked fine.
Anyone able to suggest how I might resolve this? Have already tried a Thunderbird reinstall via adept. I can do a telnet to pop.ihug.co.nz 110. Cheers, Roger
